Getting Jobs in dubai, uae in general

This one's going to be my one the most important contributions to my fellow human beings.
Indians, Pakistanis and lot of other Asians have been part of a massive exodus to the Middle East and UAE in particular. Since Dubai has transformed into the business hub of ME lot of companies have set up their base here. And so has the demand for Human Resources created.
I will try to make things easier for a job seeker, by posting my detailed analysis and observation of job hunting procedures.
1. Arrive in this country somewhere from Dec to June. This is the best period for hunting jobs as july-dec is punctuated with lot of holidays, vacations.Timing is very critical.
2.Resume comes next, understand that employers or recruiters dont have time to dig deep into the content of your resume to understand where they can fit, if they dont get it the first time they probably would never care to look at it again.Compile a resume that accentuates the points you want them to know and do not rely on on basic resume..cultivate the art of twisting the content of your resume to the job you are applying for.Customize it to have an edge.Photograph is a must in this region.
3.Get a cell phone the day you land here....and ensure you mention the correct no. on resume.
4.Speak to as many people as possible who you think can be of any help.Identify the field you want to work.
5.Daily newspaper(Gulf news) first thing in the morning, rise early go through the employment section and make applications before 10 A.M.
6.I will mention few websites which are most useful for a job hunt register on all of them...and keep visiting them till a job offer is accepted. It means spending time but then it would be worth it in the end.
http://www.bayt.com/ ; http://www.careercentre.ae/, visit the dubai internet city portal check the partner directory there will contact details you could use to fwd your CVs...same process for media city, DIFC,Jebel ali free zone.
7.Do a google for all the banks in UAE visit their web site dig contact details send resume.
8.Prepare a telephonic interview speech as most recruiters would ask you few questions on the phone when they contact you.Though it doesnt have a telling impact on your overall app. but then would you want to start on the wrong foot?
9.As soon as you get a call for interview listen carefully for the location...ask again for the directions if you need..no harm in it...confirm it with someone who knows the place well a night before the appointment.
8.Always have some cash handy with you.
9.Dress sharp...thats imp. you cant help the way you look but it doesnt mean that you have to dress shabbily...never lose heart even if its your 121st interview attack it with same sense of excitement as your 1st one.
10.If you are on 2 months visit visa , you should be choosy for the forst 30-40 days and if you are unable to find anything grab onto anything that comes your way if going back is not an option.
11.Appear at the interveiw 15 mins before the scheduled time...will help you soothe those frayed nerved.

I am a good person so if you need any kind of help, counselling post your query here and i ll answer when i have my spare time. You can send me you breif profile or anything related to UAE job hunting and i can be of help.
